CHARITY: Win signed Yorkshire CCC shirt with a donation

With Alan Boothroyd’s homecoming event at Canalside in Huddersfield happening this Saturday we have just a few days to bolster the total he has collected for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The target is to bolster it to £20,000 by midnight on Saturday.

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is something we could all need one day, whoever and wherever you are. It is a service that could save your life, or the life of someone you love.

The Keep It Up charity is essential and something Alan has quite literally gone to hell and back to support.

His efforts were nothing less than heroic.

So please everyone – just dig deep and throw a £5 donation into his collection and show him it was all worth it.

That £5 donation could also win you a piece of unique sporting memorabilia.

Just include the letters YCCC in your message of support on www.justgiving.com/actionman-uk and you will be automatically included in a draw to win Andrew Gale’s Yorkshire CLt20 matchworn and squad signed shirt.

The Yorkshire cricket captain is a massive Huddersfield Town fan and has actively supported Alan over the last few weeks.

If you are a sports club or charity why not support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and win Galey’s shirt to use as a raffle prize or fundraising prize for your own organisation?

Let’s get behind Booby one last time and take him past that £20,000 target.

Anyone making a donation of at least £5 and quoting YCCC in their  message of support on Alan’s www.justgiving.com/actionman-uk page will be entered into a draw for the shirt which will be made at the end of April. That donation effectively buys you a raffle ticket.

The shirt was auctioned by the Yorkshire skipper on Twitter adding £350 to Boothroyd’s target of £50,000. The auction winner has very kindly re-donated the shirt to the cause and has invited Yorkshire supporters to win it by backing the charity.

This shirt was worn by Andrew when his side travelled to South Africa to compete in the Champions League t20 in October 2012. It’s the biggest club event in world cricket and Yorkshire reached the main draw and played some thrilling cricket.

This is a genuine one-off – you could have the Yorkshire captains very own shirt signed by the Yorkshire squad for a £5 donation to a very good cause. If you don’t win the Yorkshire Air Ambulance still have.

The winner will be drawn at Alan’s homecoming event at Canalside in Huddersfield on 4 May 2013. You are all welcome to attend.
