Our Friend Recommendation Scheme is a great way of you reducing your shopping bills. We give you the tools to spread the word to our friends by email, facebook, twitter or blogs.
How it works - We give you a unquie link that you distribute via what ever means you wish, you can use a template email form on the Recommend Us tab or Via the Social Tab that gives you your unqiue link for facebook, twitter, blogs...
Anyone who clicks your link and registers is then stored in our database as a customer who has been refered by you. Once they are registered they appear on your Approved Friends list. The Approved Freind list is where you can see what the status is of referral friends. It shows you who has still to register, who's registered and who's made a purchase.
The following is a quick guide to managing this new service.
Logging in
To vew the Friend Recommention screen sign in to your Approved Food account and click Friend Recommendations
Freind Recommendation Summary
This page show you how well your recommendation campaign is running and how much money is on its way to you. It shows you all the various states of your Freind Recommendations and at the bottom of the page how many times your links have been clicked on facebook, twitter, blogs...
The various states are based on a traffic light system:
Red - Waiting on Registration
Amber - Waiting on 1st Order
Green - Order Placed
Recommend Us
This is where you can use our email template to tell your friends. Just enter thier name, email and click send.
They will receive the email shown at the bottom of the page. Once they click the approvedfood.co.uk link and sign in we have registered them againist your name
Social Friends
This pages give you the links for sharing your unqiue link over Twitter, Facebook and blogs.
Twitter - Contains text that you can post straight into you "What's Happening? Box". Again anyone who clicks these links and registers will be credited to you.
Facebook, Forums and Blogs - Your Unique Link can be found at the bottom of the page.
Approved Freinds
The Approved Friends tab is the dashboard of the status of your friend recommendations. They link back the summary page, showing who's not yet registered, and who has and who has not spent. It also shows referrals who haven't qualified either becuase they are duplicates or we already deliver to that house.

- LIfetime Spend - How much you have spent with us via the scheme

- Paste this link in as many places as possible to increase the chances of it getting clicked.
- When you make the post on either your Facebook wall, blog or forum be sure to start your post with some text that will increase the chances of it being clicked. something like "I've saved loads buying from this site... <your link>"
